A WEEK IN AP WORLD

INTRO DAY (Monday) – Regular class overview of chapter; discussion of vocab, people, and chronology. Notes from board, photo reflections, and discussion.

Homework: Work on whatever you want- read, do the map, work on focus questions and short answers.

PARTNER DAY (Tuesday) – In-class partner activity using textbook analysis (essential questions, research, primary sources). Correct with partner. Due immediately.

Homework: Finish map, finish focus questions and short answers (due tomorrow).

FOCUS DAY (Wednesday) Check focus questions and short answers. Discuss short answers, and watch 10 min. Crash Course or CNN video clip related to the chapter.

Homework: work on your things. Check out Tamm’s blog about the chapter (lots of cool music videos and documentaries, along with battles etc.)

FRQ / MEDIA DAY (Thursday) – DBQ, CC or CCOT skills practice, or media center assignment w/ class website, book website, or Tamm’s blog.

Homework: Study for test, finish map (due tomorrow).

TEST DAY (Friday) – Take chapter test, turn in map and focus questions. Pick up map handout for new chapter.
